to break spells takes, first, to see the spell, or at least to see the effect of the spell - the inner wall, the mental block, the inner barrier -
mentals blocks, harder than cement blocks, larger than city blocks - mentals blocks, the building blocks of inner blindness -
how to break a spell, how to break spells? how to break curses? spell breaking, more difficult than spell binding

that for humans, an idea is much more
powerful than a fact."
An idea may be based on reality. Often, though,
it is a spell, like the spell that put Sleeping Beauty to sleep
for a hundred years. How do we break such a spell?
How do we
undo the enchantment, the curse?
How to Break Spells
that Bind and Blind from Within?
This is a question I've grappled with most of my life. Someone believes ... blacks are inferior, Jews are inferior, women are inferior, gays are inferior, all opinions are equal, all religions are equal, all cultures are equal.
Sleeping Beauty only needed a kiss to wake up from a100-year enchantment.
Snow White only needed a kiss to wake up from a bite from a poisoned apple.
Waking up people, I've found, is much harder.
First, they don't know they're asleep. They often are enraged at any suggestion they may not see things as they are. They may see you as the evil witch trying to put a curse on them - rather than Prince (or Princesss) Charming with a cure.
I'm incined to call the curses, the spells, that I care about, "stupid opinions" - that is, opinions with no basis in reality. The term, though, actually comes from the frustration I've felt trying to break through the massive inner walls many people live behind.
Mentals blocks, harder than cement blocks, larger than city blocks - mentals blocks, the building blocks of inner blindness.
A big question: how to break such a spell?
To break spells is much harder
than to break eggs -
but people often guard
their inner walls as if
they were as fragile as eggs.
In a way, this is true.
Like Humpty Dumpty,
who couldn't be put
back together again,
once a spell is broken,
it's hard to get caught
in the same spell.

One of my lifelong concerns has been trying
to make sense of reality.
What is happening? Why is this happening?
At the same time, I've kept asking: how can this be changed.
One thing I found: when people are caught with mental blocks,
logic, reasoning, pointing out bad thinking,
logical fallacies does not work.
I think of rigid political correctness, also rigid political incorectness,
and of religious spells.
And then I am at the big question: how to break spells?
